Easy Fall Makeup Tutorial

Though it’s still not technically fall, the release of the Pumpkin Spice Latte has us craving all of the flavors and colors of the season. Cool gray is a color trend we love, and it will take you through winter and beyond.
Layer up your makeup like you layer up your clothes! This easy fall makeup look is all about layering shadows to achieve an effortless look.
Before eye color, we filled in Rebecca’s brows with Precise Micro Browliner in ash for her platinum blonde hair. The pencil creates a perfectly natural look with its ability to fill with short, hair-like strokes.
Cream Stay Shadow Sticks are easy to work with, but you need to work quickly. Apply the color directly to your lid and blend right away. You can blend with your weapon of choice, fingers or a brush.
Layer powder shadow over these pigmented cream sticks to create a dimensional look. For the lid we used gold blush, a light purple with gold reflect, then layered Eye Shadow in sand pebble, a golden beige.
These cream shadows can also be used as eyeliner. The shades metro, a cool slate gray, and pitch, matte black, make for great everyday liner. Smudge along the upper and lower lashline for a cohesive, care-free look. The end cap pops off to reveal a sharpener to bring the tip to a point.
Get the Look
- Fill and shape brows with Precise Micro Browliner in ash.
- Blend Eye Shadow in dove through the crease with the Eye Blender Brush.
- Apply Cream Stay Shadow Stick in gold blush to the lid.
- Add Eye Shadow in sand pebble to the center of the lids with the Full Camouflage Brush.
- Smudge Cream Stay Shadow Stick in metro along the upper and lower lashline.
- Coat lashes with Water Resistant Mascara in black.
One of Rebecca’s skin concerns is redness, so we neutralized the red in her cheeks with Corrective Camouflage Kit using the green and yellow shades.Learn how to conceal redness.
For added coverage, we started her foundation application with Tinted Primer SPF 30 in light to prep the skin. Luminous Liquid Foundation SPF 18 in tahini gives Rebecca a luminous complexion.
To brighten her skin, we applied Liquid Bright Concealer in brighten to the high points of the face: the cheekbones, nose and forehead. We finished her base and set the look with Redness Relief Powder.
For natural warmth we framed her face with Contour Kit in fair to light using both contour shades and topped her cheeks with Blush in sheer petal. Lastly, for lips we selected Cream Glaze Crayon in praline.
