    Bring back santin cream foundation

    I have been used glo satin cream (honey light)for that last 20 years, very disappointing that it’s discontinued and has been replaced with modern matte foundation. Was willing to give modern matte a try as the replacement. Customer service recommended 3W, 5W and 6W shade as comparable shade to honey light. I ordered 3W & 6W both are not even close to honey light. I found both to have a heavy yellow undertone and to be lighter color. The foundation goes on with a Chalky appearance. Smells and feels comparable to E.L.F. Foundation or Morphe. Application coverage weird looking. doesn’t blend as well. Picture show shade comparison to satin cream honey light in the middle. I don't recommend this foundation as a replacement to the discontinued foundation.

    Lightweight feel with full coverage ❤️

    I was chosen to participate in the Modern Matte Foundation Challenge and this is my honest review of the product. I typically do not like liquid foundations because they feel heavy and “cakey”. I actually do not wear makeup most days. This product was very lightweight and went on smoothly. It didn’t even feel like I was wearing makeup! It covered very well and controlled shine the entire day. I did not notice any difference from the time I applied it in the morning until the end of the day in the soft feel of it on my skin. I would highly recommend this product for a foundation, especially in the winter months when a little more coverage is needed or desired. It does a great job smoothing the complexion while feeling lightweight and effortless. I’m attaching 3 photos: before application, after application, and at the end of the day.

    Great lightweight coverage

    I mixed two shades for my olive tone skin (3W and 5W). They mixed very well and a little goes a long way. The foundation has great lightweight coverage. It's smooth and easy to apply. I began applying with the provided brush; however, the foundation stuck to the brush, therefore I started using my fingers for application and it was much smoother. I have oily skin; therefore, I prefer matte products. This product delivers, where I don't look cakey and oily, rather smooth and fresh. The product held up through the day.

    Best coverage!

    As a loyal glo skin beauty foundation fan, I’ve used multiple different foundations from this brand. The modern matte offers the best coverage by far. I also noticed that the color seemed to blend into my natural skin tone after application. I am a huge fan of this product!

    Before, applied, after a 12 hour shift

    I loved the makeup. It didn’t fully last through my shift but I have to put on and take off masks for 12 hours so I’m not surprised. Overall, I will continue to buy. Covered all my flaws, not valet at all and my face could breathe.
