I have sensitive skin, can I use Oil-Free Tinted Primer?

Yes, Oil-Free Tinted Primer is good for all skin types from oily to sensitive. Zinc Oxide is a natural mineral broad spectrum sunscreen ingredient, meaning it blocks both UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays. Often you will see it promoted as the ideal choice for sensitive skin. Why is that? Mineral sunscreens lay on the surface of the skin—as opposed to chemical sunscreens which absorb into the skin, and they reflect the sun’s rays like a mirror, meaning there is less potential for irritation.

Do I need to wear additional SPF products if I'm using this product?

You may use Oil-Free Tinted Primer as a standalone SPF product, but we recommend re-applying every 2 hours to maintain protection. You can always wear a SPF product under or over this product as well.

What do you apply first: tinted primer or moisturizer?

Apply your moisturizer first, then apply Oil-Free Tinted Primer to prep the complexion for a smooth foundation application. Dispense 1-2 pumps onto clean fingertips and apply.

    A one-and-done wonder

    I’m on my seventh tube! This is the most versatile and effective skincare and makeup product I own. On casual days, I use it on its own after applying moisturizer. It has a decent SPF so it’s a real timesaver.

    I add a bit of Glo’s cream blush to the apples of my cheeks and my forehead, a smidgen on the bridge of my nose, and a bit on my lips. A touch of dark brown mascara and … voilà! My complexion looks fresh and bright — a natural “no makeup-makeup” look that’s perfect for days when I’m running errands or grabbing coffee with friends. Sometimes I’ll add a bit of concealer after I apply the primer, and set everything with a light dusting of translucent loose powder. My makeup stays in place for a good six to eight hours when I apply it this way.

    Lately I’ve been using it as a primer under various moderate coverage foundations, some of which don’t have any sunscreen. The primer definitely extends the longevity of my foundation.

    It’s silky smooth, light as a feather, fragrance free, and a pleasure to apply.

    It’s a home run.

    MVP great tinted primer

    I love how this primer applies with a nice and smooth finish. It covers blemishes pretty well without making it seem like your face is full of heavy makeup. I am in a transition period right now; I have an 8-month-old baby and my hormones have been pretty off; which has introduced a lot more breakouts that I'm used to having. I'm looking forward to using this more once my hormones level out a bit!

    This one is a keeper!

    The new oil free tinted primer is a keeper! I have combo acne prone skin. This primer is great on its own for a no makeup kind of day or great layered with the pressed or satin cream foundation. It’s become my go to base when getting ready in the morning. It goes on like silk and lasts all day! I don’t find myself blotting through the day which is a major bonus! For reference I wear the natural fair in the satin cream foundation and the color fair in this primer is perfect. I highly recommend this primer. Photos show with primer only, next one with makeup, and the final photo shows how it held up 7 hours later with no blotting after a busy day. This product is a keeper!

    I really like this primer! It goes on smooth and lets my face breath!
